18 July 2025

Next week, the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be heading to the Lavender Hill Community Centre, Du Noon Recreational Centre and the Ward Councillor’s Office in Philippi. A wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries will be provided. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services that come along with each mobile office visit.

The details are as follows:
• Tuesday, 22 July 2025, from 08:00 to 16:00 at the Lavender Hill Community Centre, Cnr Hek Street and Grindle Avenue, Lavender Hill
• Thursday, 24 July 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Du Noon Recreational Centre, 4 Waxberry Close, Du Noon
• Friday, 25 July 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Ward Councillor’s Office, 4 Sharon Road, Browns Farm, Philippi

The City’s Human Settlements department will also be present at the Lavender Hill Community Centre.

‘This is the City’s commitment to bringing its services closer to communities and making local government more accessible to residents. City staff will be on site to provide guidance and assistance on queries arising on both these days next week. Residents are reminded to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to help ease the process on the day,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
